Jiří Poláček

Senior Manažer Risk Models & Fraud Management, MONETA Money Bank a.s.

Jiří Poláček is a graduate of the Institute of Economic Studies at Charles University. He began his career at MONETA Money Bank (formerly GE Money Bank) in 2014 and has since held several roles within the Risk Management division. He specialises in credit risk modelling, IFRS 9 impairment, and the application of quantitative methods in AML and payment fraud prevention. Since 2024, he has been serving as Senior Manager, Risk Models & Fraud Management. In addition to his role in banking, he lectures externally at University of Economics, Prague on the impairment of financial instruments.
